Experience a transformative day-long retreat for Jewish women, centered on the theme of "Growing Into Joy." Through meaningful discussions, spiritual practices, expressive arts, movement, and eating healthy delicious food participants will explore how to cultivate inner happiness and resilience. This retreat offers a nurturing space for women of all ages to connect with others, reflect on personal growth, and plant the seeds of joy that will flourish in our daily lives.

Growing Plants

This Women's Retreat is designed for women seeking a day of clarity, self-care, connection, and rejuvenation.

Dr. Rahel Schwartz

Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Therapist 

​

Dr Rahel Schwartz earned her undergraduate degree from Bar Ilan University and PhD from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Rahel’s work has focused on addressing trauma, occupational stress, chronic health conditions and anxiety. Over the years, she has become increasingly interested in the mind-body connection. She is a somatic experiencing practitioner and a trainer for EMDR. To learn more about Rahel:

Dr. Devorah Walder

Acupuncturist and craniosacral therapist

​

Dr. Devorah Walder is the owner & clinical director of Spectrum Acupuncture and Wellness. She holds a doctorate in Acupuncture and specializes in treating patients with chronic and complex conditions and is a Fertility Specialist. She is also a certified pediatric craniosacral therapist. She has taught yoga and meditation for many years and loves facilitating women's retreats, rituals and gatherings. To learn more about Devorah:

Julie Tonti

Educator, Yoga, and

Meditation Teacher

Julie has a Master's Degree in Jewish Spirituality.  She is a mother, Jewish educator, and potter who lives outside Washington DC. During the day she works at Jewish Educational Services where she supports Jewish teachers and students.  In the evenings she works as a Yoga teacher at Claybrook Yoga. She is also working on a graphic novel on the life of Glikl of Hamlin with her husband, Rabbi Mat Tonti.  Learn more at glikl.com.
